PRESENTATION

Research	Theatre dell’Aleph elaborates at its core, research focused on the rediscovery of the principals which render opera so fascinating and those which create the vivaciousness of the actor in his creative work, against a parallel study of the various theatrical cultures and the meeting and exchange with artists from all over the world.
Pedagogy	Theatre dell’Aleph proposes itself as a stable point of reference for education on the theatre, consisting of annual courses of study for the formation of young actors as well as periods of study for those who are interested in the theatrical phenomenon. Such projects, called Scuola Interculturale di Teatro – SIT (Intercultural School of Theatre), include practical and theoretical seminars held by the actors and the director/producer of the theatre itself, using a series of national and international reports regarding the programmed courses and the didactic material, including library documents, videocassettes, and films.
Library	Theatre dell’Aleph has a library specialized in the theatre, with historical and cultural documents as well as technical and pedagogical magazines. It also has a well-stocked audiolibrary with music and songs derived from all over the world, and an enormous video library regarding the predominant forms of theatre of every continent and the emerging theatrical phenomenons emerging from the last century. The films and documents can be privately viewed at the Theatre dell’Aleph or at public meetings outside of the theatre, with presentations given by a member of the company.
Theatrical events	Theatre dell’Aleph’s objective is the realization of theatrical events which place the actor at the center of the scenic event. The staged performances are therefore the result of various stages of research conducted and realized by the actors and the director of the group. Theatre dell’Aleph has presented its shows many times at national theatrical festivals.
Festivals	Theatre dell’Aleph organizes the International Festival of Theatre, Dance & Music "Itineraries within Cultures of Peoples" which invites artists, teachers, and theatre groups, dance companies, and music groups originating from all over the world.
Publishing	The publication of Theatre dell’Aleph consists of a series of books entitled "Notes on Theatre" and in the quarterly magazine Coup de Theatre.
